Specialty Programs
Little Limelight (Ages 5-7): Sing, dance, and act in this unique class for rising stars. Learn choreography to favorite, age-appropriate Broadway songs, build confidence while singing in front of others, and let your imagination run free through foundational drama games and storytelling!
Star Leadership (Ages 8+): The Taking Shape™ Star Leadership program empowers the youth of the next generation through a structured, easy to implement leadership curriculum.
Helping kids gain confidence, battle stress and anxiety, create awareness and put action behind values such as resilience, gratitude and servant leadership.
Aerial Silks (Ages 10+): This class provides a fun learning environment to build strength, flexibility, and confidence in the aerial hammock. Transitions my be quicker in between posed to build core, upper and lower body strength. Modifications are always offered!
Pom Prep (Ages 12+): The Pom Prep class is designed to equip students with the skills and techniques necessary to excel in auditions for high school or college dance teams. Through a structured curriculum blending technical training, choreography, and performance preparation, students will develop both the physical prowess and artistic expression required for competitive dance team environments.
Leaps &Turns (Ages 12+): In this class dancers will work on new leaps and turns as well as work on perfecting basic leaps and turns that are used in their other technique classes. This class is a great additional class to take with jazz.
Adult Tap (Ages 18+): No Experience Required! This mini-session will meet October-November 2024. This micro-commitment is a great way to try something new, or dust off the old shoes! Get your pals together and come join the fun! This class will meet Oct-Nov and depending on the interest, will have another mini session in 2025!
Magical Moments (no age requirement): The class is an inclusive class that focuses on skill development, self empowerment, and celebrating our differences. Our instructors are certified in Rhythm Works Integrative Dance. *Dance class for special needs students*
Ages 3-5 years
Tutus & Bowties: Our Tutus & Bowties, formally known as ballet/tumbling program consists of a 45-minute creative dance class where students will develop coordination, musical awareness, and listening skills while helping students implement their natural creativity in a fun and free environment. Song, dance, and basic tumbling are used to help engage the students' attention and imagination.
Tiny Tappers: Does your child seem interested in putting on those tap shoes for the first time? This class would be a perfect introduction to learning tap to prepare your dancer for the next year of an actual tap class! *Non-Recital Class to pair with Tutus and Bowties!
Ninja Tumbling: Our Ninja tumbling class is designed to build strength and confidence with tumbling skills, obstacle courses and more! *Non-Recital Class
Ages 5-6 years
Happy Feet: For dancers ages 5-6 this 45-minute dance combo class is a combination of 20 minutes of ballet movement, 20 minutes of tap technique, and 5 minutes of free dance movement helps develop coordination, rhythm, and imagination.
Tumbling Add-On: Basic concepts of tumbling and stretching to prep for full classes in the following years. ONLY available to those enrolled in Happy Feet. This class will not participate in recital and in turn will not have a recital costume.
Tumbling 1-2: Our tumbling program is designed to develop balance, strength, coordination, and flexibility. Students will learn a progression of skills in a safe, and enjoyable atmosphere.
Tumble Team: The Forté Tumble Team starts at a pre-competitive level through level ten panel mat compulsory competition. There are also power tumbling passes, mini trampoline, and acro dance options availble! Students participate in 2 local competitions! *If your athlete is unable to attend a tumble team class, private lessons are available!

Ages 6-7 years
Dance FUNdamentals: The basic foundation of ballet, tap and jazz will be taught in a fun and free environment. The individual instruction our dancers receive will give them the correct foundation and the "fun"damentals for their physical and mental development.
DancingKids!: Connected to the Dance FUNdamentals class, our DancingKids! program is our LOW COMMITMENT performing group for dancers ages 6-7! Dancers participate in our Nutcracker, Showcase, 1 Local Competition, Recital, and community performances! It is a GREAT way to not only get to watch your dancer perform more than the annual recital, but also a great first step into being a part of a team!
Hippity Hop: These upbeat high-tempo classes aim to develop not only technique but self-confidence and stage performance as well. Hippity Hop was designed to introduce younger and beginning hip-hop students into this style! This is a great class for Ballet/Tap and Dance Fundamentals dancers, as well as those that have never taken Hip Hop!
Tumbling: Our tumbling program is designed to develop balance, strength, coordination, and flexibility. Students will learn a progression of skills in a safe, and enjoyable atmosphere.
Level 1-2: Intro to Tumbling
Level 2-3: Students must be able to bridge and cartwheel. In this level we will work on mastering backbends, cartwheel variations, and kickovers.
Tumble Team: The Forté Tumble Team starts at a pre-competitive level through level ten panel mat compulsory competition. There are also power tumbling passes, mini trampoline, and acro dance options availble! Students participate in 2 local competitions!*If your athlete is unable to attend a tumble team class, private lessons are available!

Ages 8-10 years
Dance Fusion: If your child loved Dance FUNdamentals and is ready for the next step, Dance Fusion is the place to be! This high energy 45 min. combo class of tap and jazz offers our students the opportunity to dive deeper into both styles.. We have nestled the class into the schedule along with Hip Hop, Ballet and Tumbling for this age group for ease of our families' busy schedules!
Hip Hip ages 8-10: Hip Hop class is a very stylized form of dance using isolations, popping, and freestyled movement, These upbeat high-tempo classes aim to develop not only technique but self-confidence and stage performance as well.
Ballet: This classical dance form uses grace, strength, and balance to create flowing movement. Students will work both at the barre and in the center while learning terminology and body placement. The technique a dancer learns from this class carries over to all dance forms. Dancers who take ballet may work up to joining our pre-pointe and pointe programs. Both classes will perform in the Nutcracker and in Recital!

Ages 11-13 years
Tap: Tap classes allow students to create rhythms through foot articulation in an enjoyable atmosphere. At the developmental level, tap reinforces rhythm concepts. As students advance in ability, they learn increasingly intricate combinations and technique.
Jazz: Jazz classes have an upbeat and fun-filled atmosphere focused on improving technique, strength, and flexibility which will enhance students’ jumps, turns, and stage performance.
Hip Hop: Hip Hop class is a very stylized form of dance using isolations, popping, and freestyled movement, These upbeat high-tempo classes aim to develop not only technique but self-confidence and stage performance as well.
Ballet: This classical dance form uses grace, strength, and balance to create flowing movement. Students will work both at the barre and in the center while learning terminology and body placement. Tumbling: Our tumbling program is designed to develop balance, strength, coordination, and flexibility. Students will learn a progression of skills in a safe, and enjoyable atmosphere.
Level 3-4: Students must be able to backbend, stand from a backbend, kick over, and do both side one hand cartwheels.
Tumbling 4/Intermediate: Students must have mastered front and back walkovers and full cartwheel variations.
Tumble Team: The Forté Tumble Team starts at a pre-competitive level through level ten panel mat compulsory competition. There are also power tumbling passes, mini trampoline, and acro dance options availble!
